FAQ
Questions vendors ask.
Do my buyers need to create an account?
No. They open your link, choose what they want and pay. Each buyer gets a private link to their order, so they can come back to pay anything still owed.
Where does my money go?
Buyers pay through our licensed payment partner. Your share is paid out to the Nigerian bank account you add to your store, and you can see every payout's status under Transactions.
What does it cost?
Lotanda is free during early access. Our payment partner charges 1.2% per payment for processing, and you choose whether that's added to the buyer's total or taken from your payout.
Do I have to take a deposit?
No. Each batch is full payment or a deposit, your choice. A deposit can be anything from 20% to 100%, and Lotanda collects the rest when the goods land.
How is shipping charged?
Set your forwarder's rate per kg, per CBM or as a share of value. Lotanda prices it at checkout, or splits the forwarder's bill across orders when the goods land. You can also leave shipping out.
What is a procurement list?
Every order in a batch added up by product, size and supplier, so you know exactly what to buy. Tick items off as you order, or copy the list into your supplier’s chat.
Who handles delivery?
You do, the way you do now. Lotanda handles the orders, the payments and the shipping fees, and buyers can follow their order on its own page.
What about refunds?
You're the seller, so you set your own refund policy, and it's shown on your store.
Is it only for mini importation?
No. It works for anything you sell on pre-order: fashion, bags, shoes, hair, gadgets, thrift bales. If you take payment now and deliver later, it fits.
Can I use it with WhatsApp and Instagram?
That's what it's for. Keep selling where your buyers are, and send them your store link to order and pay.
